Our Inspiration

Veronique and I are semi retired pre digital Nomads ourselves. We have lived and worked all other the world. We arrived in the Algarve 7 years ago, and since then we have been slowly improving he property. - developing a retreat business, a yoga studio and an organic farm, while improving the basic infrastructure.

We have been welcoming vounteers (woofers), retreat partiicpant,s friends, familly and even refugees from the Ukraine since 2019. Having people stay in our farm house, either volunteering on the farm or attending our retreats has really enriched our lives, and we now want to extend that welcome to Digital Nomads.

Accomdation

We have a guest house on the property with four (soon to be 5 double or twin rooms. (There are lots of photos on the photo gllery page.) Rooms can be shared or occupied individually. There are two bathrooms, a sitting room, TV room, Tea room, kitchen & utility room.Outside there is a large patio with access to a pool andother shaded areas to relax in. As the farmhouse is next to the main vegetable garden it has the feel of a working farmstead. the kitchen has a dishwasher and there is a clothes washing machine and dryer in the utility room. There are ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and airconditoning in the main shared living / dining room. There is parking space too

Activities

We converted a large garage a few years ago into a yoga studio, and almost everyday @ Casa Mukta we have a meditation, breathwork or yoga class, and you are very welcome in these classes. Participation in three classes a week is included in your rent, and we hope people attracted to come here will take advantage of thte opportunity. If you want to volunteer in the garden, that's also possible.

There are also two decent bikes, a table tennis table and the pool. But the main attraction here is the nature that surrounds us. You can walk directly off the back of the property into completely wild and unspoilt ecological land. The trails around here are fantastic. - if you like to walk , run or cycle. There is one small cafe in the village. But If you want the bright lights of the Algarve then Loule is 8 minutes drive away, or 25 minutes on the bike. And the beaches are 25 minutes drive from here.

Staying at Casa Mukta will be attractive to people who are happy to live in a shared environment but are also wanting to be in a quiet natural environment. (This is not suitable for people who want the excitment of town life or the party scene.)

In 2021 Caa Mukta received EU certification to produce organic fruit and vegetables on the land of Casa Mukta. As 'Amendoeira Organics', we have been selling at the famous Loulé Farmers market for the last three years and previously delivered produce to local shops and private clients. Recently the focus of the garden has shifted to providing fresh organic ingredients for the super healthy food served to our guests on retreats. If you have green fingers and want to help in the garden or if you are curious and want to try your hand at growing your own, speak with Peter and he guarantees to find you something to do!

The Package and fees

Digital Nomads are welcome to stay at Casa Mukta for a minimum of one month.

A double or twin room with single person occupancy - 850 euro per monthA double or A double twin room with 2 person occupancy - 650 euro per person per month

To hold a place a 100 euro deposit is requested. The balance of Payment is required prior to the first day of the stay.

Price includes Mon to Fri a daily 30 minute yoga or breathwork class and a daily 30 minute meditation class. Other workshops and classes may be available but not included in the package (eg Kundalini Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, etc).

Food is not included nor is catering provided.

All utility costs are included. (Internet , electricity, water, gas)

Local Aiport, bus and train station transport is available but not included in the price
